The New Mexico Cattle Growers' Association offers scholarships to our student membership so they can achieve their college and career goals, strengthening the cattle industry in New Mexico. Currently, NMCGA offers $10,000 worth of scholarships to NMCGA members each year. 


 

Scholarships Offered

Depot Farm and Ranch Agency Heritage Scholarship

NMCGA and Depot Farm and Ranch Agency will award three scholarships to attend a university, community college, trade, or vocational school of the winner's choice. Scholarship amounts: 2 - $2,500 and 1 - $500.

Purina Mills Scholarship

NMCGA and Purina Mills offers two $1,000 scholarships each year awarded to high school seniors or college students exemplify deep roots in agriculture.

YCLC Undergraduate Scholarship

The NMCGA Young Cattlemen's Leadership Committee offers one $500 scholarship each year.

Deadline: October 15

YCLC Graduate Scholarship

The NMCGA Young Cattlemen's Leadership Committee offers one $1,000 scholarship each year to a graduate student. 

Deadline: May 1

Allied Industry Committee Scholarship

The NMCGA Allied Industry Committee awards one $500 scholarship to a high school senior or college student each year. 

Deadline: October 15

Allied Industry Committee Graduate Scholarship

The NMCGA Allied Industry Committee gives one $500 scholarship to a deserving graduate student each year.
